Lend a hand. Get CLE credit.
A recent rule change has allowed your pro bono hours with Southern Arizona Legal Aid's Volunteer Lawyers Program to be counted as CLE credit.
For each 5 hours of pro bono service provided through an approved legal services program (up to 25 hours of service per year), you can claim 1 hour of CLE self-study credit (up to a total of 5 hours of CLE credit per year).
How it Works
Complete the Pro Bono Service Verification form; have the VLP sign your form; and keep it with your other CLE records. Please do not send the form into the State Bar.
Volunteer Lawyers Program
Southern Arizona Legal Aid's Volunteer Lawyers Program is a nonprofit program that teams attorneys willing to do pro bono legal work with low-income clients in need of civil legal assistance. Through the donation of their time and expertise, these volunteer attorneys help make the legal system accessible to all.
